International Wire Transfer

Traditionally when you do wire transfer you get a low exchange rate. You need to go to a third party company like Transferwise, Xoom or paypal to transfer money. How would a customer like it if he is in bank account and still get a good exchange rate offered by Transferwise or Xoom?

We integrated Transferwise platform with Q2 platform bank SFCU. SFCU members can automatically create a Transferwise account staying within the SFCU online banking. SFCU members get a better exchange rate and transfer money internationally.

Technology:

We have used Q2 SDK and Transferwise API to build the integration. We built the front end in Tecton.

Success:

SFCU members are able to send money at a good exchange rate. The app would soon be available for all Q2 banks
