Frustrated by the cumbersome and expensive international money transfer options available to their customers, the Stanford FCU online banking team sought out a way to make a better and cheaper international money transfer experience.
The Solution
We integrated the Transferwise platform with Stanford FCU which allowed members to automatically create a Transferwise account within their online banking platform. Stanford FCU members now enjoy a better exchange rate when they transfer money internationally.
The Technology
We used the Q2 SDK and Transferwise API to develop the integration between Stanford FCU online Banking, Q2, and Transferwise. The front end development was completed using Q2’s design system known as Tecton.

Customer Success
Stanford FCU members are able to save money and seamlessly interact with Transferwise within their online banking experience. Q2 is working to make the option available to all Q2 customers.
