Move Groups
Move Groups: Efficient Member Transfers and Management
The Move Groups feature enables users to seamlessly transfer members between groups by activating the required option. This functionality ensures streamlined user management while maintaining well-organized and structured group assignments.
Adding Group Pairs
To create a group pair, click the plus icon in the Move Groups section. A form will appear with two input fields:
- Source ID (Source Group)
- Target ID (Destination Group)
Validation & Saving
Both fields must be completed, and all predefined conditions must be met before clicking the save icon. Once saved, the group pair is added to the Move Groups section, where it is displayed with a toggle switch and a delete icon.
- So when the user is in the group scenario then the Source ID must only contains integer values and same goes with the Target ID
- But in the non-group scenario the Source ID should start with string and can be followed up with special characters and digits
Managing Group Pairs
Users can create multiple group pairs as needed. To activate a group pair, simply enable the toggle switch—only enabled pairs will be processed. If a group pair is no longer required, it can be removed by clicking the delete icon.
This feature enhances administrative efficiency by providing a structured and intuitive approach to group management.
If the Admin selects both the Source ID and Target ID and enables the Disable option, the members will be moved to the Target Group, and their status will also be set to Disabled. However, if the Disable option is not enabled, the members will still be moved to the Target Group, but their status will remain unchanged.
